The studio

A quieter kind of salon.

Fern & Petal was set up around one idea: your hour here should feel like stepping into a greenhouse, not joining a queue.

Four chairs, live plants at every station, and a technician who stays with you from soak to seal. We keep the music low, the kettle warm, and the schedule honest.

  • Tools out of the autoclave, opened in front of you
  • Ventilated stations and low-odour product lines

Our story

The ritual

Every visit, three acts.

Settle & consult

Tea first. Then shape, length and colour decided together, with your calendar and your habits in mind — not just the tray of swatches.

Tend & shape

Cuticles coaxed, never cut short of comfort. Files are single-use, tools come straight from the autoclave, and nothing is rushed.

Finish & seal

Colour cured or polished to a glass finish, edges sealed, oil worked in. You leave with care notes for the weeks between visits.

Guest stories

“I booked a spa manicure on a whim and it has become the hour I protect every month. Nobody rushes, nobody upsells. My hands come back looking like mine, only tended.”

“I arrived with nails I had chewed to nothing. Six months of builder gel later they are long enough that I keep catching myself admiring them — and not once did anyone make me feel bad about how they started.”

“Ask for the fine-line botanicals. I brought a photo of the ferns outside my kitchen window and left with them painted on my ring fingers. People ask about them constantly.”

“Two things sold me: the tools come out of a sealed pouch in front of you, and the room is quiet. After a decade of salons that felt like conveyor belts, this one feels like a greenhouse.”
