Finding the door
The entrance is on the side
The shopfront on Wisconsin is not ours. Take the black door on the left of the building, up one flight. There is a small brass plate and no sign — that is the right door.
Parking
Metered on Wisconsin until 10pm, and free on the residential streets one block east after 6.30pm. The garage on the corner validates for two hours if you ask us at the desk.
By bus or on foot
The 31 and 33 stop two minutes away. From Foggy Bottom Metro it is a twenty-minute walk or a six-minute ride.
Arriving
Come as you are and come on time — we hold your slot for fifteen minutes, after which the artist has usually started somebody else. There is no waiting room, by design.

How far ahead should I book?
Ten days for a weekday evening, three weeks for a Friday or a Saturday. Cancellations do appear — call on the day and ask.
Can you take off work done elsewhere?
Yes. Removal is $20 and adds about twenty minutes, so tell us when you book and we will hold the extra time rather than rushing the new set.
Do you do two of us together?
Two guests, two artists, side by side — yes, and it is worth booking early because it needs half the studio. Larger groups take the whole room; ask us.
What if I have never had gel before?
Say so. We will start with an overlay rather than length, show you how it should grow out, and book the infill before you leave.
